our stay at mt carbine could not have been better, the owners Jennifer and Robert could not have been more pleasant with there hospitality, the amenities were clean, the atmosphere was relaxing and we even had free internet access. I would recommend a stay at there caravan park a must on your way to and after you return from the tip.

Unfortunately we too short on time to spend the night here, but we stopped here during the day as someone was indicated us that Robert and Jennifer would be happy to show us the Tawny Frogmouths on their property. They were VERY friendly and the birdlife at the Caravan park is marvellous. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks very much for the lovely time there !
Jennifer and Rob absolutely wonderful hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need both before and after your trip to the Cape (assuming you are leaving your van whilst travelling to the Cape).

They are a wealth of information and provide a great base for a Cape Adventure.
I only stayed here 2 days 1 night for bird photography. Didn’t know what to expect but turned out a fantastic experience. The hosts were just wonderful, just read the previous reviews. I stayed in an on site room. Very good size and has everything you need. Fridge, TV, A/C, Big comfy bed and all in a fantastic setting. Although it was very hot and dry when l stayed. And lots of bird photo’s too. I totally recommend staying here to anyone. Solo, couples or families. I’ll be back next xmas and stay a bit longer. Thanks Jen and Rob. You’re both amazing.
First up, the new owners are just wonderful. Nikki and Daryl are very easy going, always helpful, and make the perfect Park owners. I travelled solo and stayed in one of the large self contained cabins. Which are really comfortable and have everything you need. I stayed 3 nights this time, and spent 3 days doing some great bird photography. It’s a bird haven actually. And it’s a large Park as well. The Roadhouse and the Hotel are 1 minutes drive away on the Highway, and have all you need. So it’s like a little oasis there. I totally recommend anyone stay here, couples or families would love it too. I’ll be staying there on my next visit. Thanks for having me!
